Why?

Doubtful credentials
Says he was an IRS Agent which I find it hard to believe. Recommended to me by his father-in-law (another goon) Attorney Joel Sprayregan of Shefsky and Froelich, Chicago. Not vetting him prior to hiring him was my biggest mistake and this post is so that you should not make that too.

His negligence will have the IRS foreclose you and evict you from your primary home:
When I went to him, I came to know that my husband had cheated on his taxes for the immediate past 3 years and my husband was going to owe the IRS several hundreds of thousands of dollars. Yet, for the then current year, he filed my return as "Married Filing Jointly" making me responsible for the hundreds of thousands of dollars for the then current year! Even a marginally competent accountant would know that and would have filed me as "Married Filing Separately"! The result of his actions is that now there is a tax lien on the primary homestead home I live in with my 3 kids which is more than the value of the home and I will be evicted/foreclosed with my 3 kids, by the IRS any day now.

He does not try to compensate you for his negligence:
As a result of his actions, I have been fighting the IRS in local offices, appeals offices and now in Tax Court asking for innocent spouse protection. I have spent around $20,000 of my meager savings. He knows this and does not attempt to pay for my legal expenses as a result of his negligence.

I have complained to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation about this guy.
