OMG little Tim Hudson is in business for himself! Wow. I remember him from way back when he worked for Steve Sabba and he isn't even an accountant, he's a lawyer who used to work for some Broadway show or something... He never said hello when I sat with him, he always had a sour attitude, he didn't know the answers to most of my questions and I thank God that every year I got to sit with Steve to correct any mistakes and improve on what Tim did....and of course I'm still with Steve! Sorry Tim but for you to be rated "best accountant" just because TWO people gave you glowing reviews, well, how many clients did you steal from Steve when you left him? How many do you have now? Steve still has over 3,000. I'm one of them and I'm not going anywhere else.
Tim Hudson is responsive by e-mail/phone/in person, knowledgeable and good with both individual and corporate tax returns. His legal credentials along with tax proficiency are a plus. Notably, he was able to work through K1s and businesses in multiple jurisdictions which other accountants and tax software had problems with. Setting up corporate 401k, benefit planning, etc are also well coordinated with Rob Thornburn and Franck Cushner, his business associates at Ensemble.
Having used another accountant for a few years who was usually totally unresponsive and gave conflicting advice, I switched to Tim @ Ensemble. Without wishing to gush and sound like a teen, it has been like leaving an abusive relationship and finding true love! Anytime I email a question he responds within the hour, if not sooner (even if it is a weekend!). He is thorough, stands behind his work, knows what he is talking about, and equally important, the offices where he works are run professionally, are clean & tidy, and I have never had to wait for hours on end waiting for him to see me: if he says my appointment is at 12pm, he sees me at 12pm (unlike my previous accountant where I could be waiting for hours on end!). Avail yourself of his services and you will not regret it!!!
